FAQs

How much will it cost?

AIMS is competitively priced, and costs are dependent on a range of factors that reflect your requirements.  Get in touch for a no-strings initial quote to help with your tender process and market research.

Is there a cost per user?

No. Your fee is project based, not user based, allowing you to give access to as many or few users as your grant management project requires at any moment.

How quickly can we get started?

For the simplest projects, we can get your AIMS project up and running in 3-6 weeks.

Can I have access to a demo system?

Each client’s project is unique – we build your AIMS grant management system to your bespoke requirements.  We can show you how the system looks and feels, and for larger budgets we can build a pilot system.

Where is AIMS hosted?

We offer hosting on our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Ireland.  We also support clients who choose to host their AIMS grantmaking solution on their own premises or in the cloud.

What does AIMS mean?

AIMS full title is the Award Information Management System.

Will the implementation period prevent us from delivering our funding programme?

Implementation of AIMS will not disrupt the day-to-day running of your organisation or delivery of your funding or award programmes.

Who are Quest?

Quest is an Irish software company with thirty years of experience in grant management. AIMS was created by Quest in response to the needs of the award making sector. In 2022, AIMS Software Ltd was founded as a separate entity to focus on continuing the quality provision of grant management software. The team and product remain the same as when the system was owned by Quest outright, and we are proud to maintain the heritage and high levels of quality that are embedded within AIMS grant management software.

I need help.

If you are having an issue using AIMS the first point of contact should be your grantmaking organisation’s helpdesk. Contact details will be provided on their AIMS portal. We can only support AIMS clients, not applicants.

If you are a user in a grantmaking organisation, the first person to contact will be your AIMS system administrator or IT contact. If they require any assistance from us, they will raise a support ticket and we will help to resolve the issue.

If you need to contact us directly, we will also raise a ticket with your system administrator.

When will my release be available?

The next scheduled release for AIMS will be in Q4 2023.
