Who we are
AIMS Grant and Programme Management Software was created by Quest Computing Ltd. – an Irish solutions firm with a global presence. Our solution is delivered by our team of grant management specialists (some of whom have even been grant managers themselves!) and IT experts who specialise in grant and programme management, serving government, social and development sectors for the last two decades.
Our story

Quest Computing Ltd. started in 1989 and built its reputation on the design and development of business critical software systems for public and private sector organisations.

AIMS Grant and Programme Management Software solution was subsequently developed and demonstrated strong potential from the outset.

We continued with a vision to advise and collaborate with organisations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, governance and control in their grant, fund and programme management processes. We deployed AIMS with some of the most innovative grant making organisations in the UK and Dutch markets. From these successes, we quickly grew a client base in North America and Europe. Before long, AIMS became the number 1 choice in Europe for progressive public and social organisations to manage their grants and programmes.

Since then, we have worked closely with organisations on four continents in a wide variety of sectors, from health and research to NGOs and government. Over the years, we have gained extensive knowledge from our shared experiences with grant makers. Our product has been enhanced with every learning and experience, making AIMS the most comprehensive and feature-rich grant management system on the market.

In 2012, we began to explore opportunities for AIMS beyond Europe and North America and have subsequently expanded our reach into South East Asia, delivering to clients in Singapore and Malaysia through our strategic partner network.

AIMS now processes more than 62 million applications and grants to over 1 million individuals and organisations globally. The system manages over 5 billion euro in funding each year.

And we are not stopping there! Our vision remains the same and our product continues to grow and evolve with market requirements, as our clients help us to develop our product roadmap. We consistently reinvest a significant proportion of our revenue each year to the ongoing development of AIMS. This is pivotal to our success as market leaders in providing mature enterprise level grants management systems.

My experiences since 2010 have all been positive. All staff have an excellent knowledge of the system. The AIMS team have even helped provide advice on our own internal IT issues which weren’t their issues.

• greater focus upon actions to address risk and opportunity

• awareness and evidence of the understanding of expectation of interested parties

Exova BM TRADA, a UK based international certification body awards our external certification. Exova BM TRADA are themselves accredited by major governance bodies such as the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and the American National Standards Institute, so demonstrating Quest’s clear focus upon alignment with internationally recognised benchmarks of Quality.

Risk assessment techniques have enhanced the system in line with the principles of the new standard and there is a renewed energy towards the system. The QMS has effectively addressed the requirements of ISO9001:2015. The monitoring and measurement capability introduced to the QMS has introduced an enhanced transparency to the effectiveness to the system.

EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) – Implementation by 25th May 2018
What do the new EU GDPR regulations do?
  • Give people control of their personal data
  • Make rules on gaining consent stricter
  • Simplify the regulatory framework
  • Make data protection an organisation-wide issue, not a legal one
  • Require transparency in collection, storage and use of data and its security
  • Introduce special protection for children’s data
We are currently putting functionality in place in AIMS to comply with the upcoming EU General Data Protection Regulations. This will ensure compliance of our clients with the regulations in their grant management and use of AIMS.
